Louise Germaney, Course Director
Louise was one of the first National Lottery assessors in the UK, setting up what is now Awards for All. With 15 years fundraising experience for charities, schools and universities and 5 years as a grants assessor for major funding bodies. Louise has a strong focus on bid writing and funding strategies for small charities. An e-learning specialist, qualified trainer with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and past winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Anne Daly, Tutor
Anne has a financial and business background and for the past 10 yrs has been applying these skills to the not for profit sector in Scotland. She is an active and experienced fundraiser and champion of small charities. Anne is a Director of her local Community Development Trust and a Trustee of The Phoenix International Charity, a grant making charity, so is well placed to advise on making applications stand out. Anne is an experienced fundraising tutor and has worked with a number of schools on eco strategies.
Kathy Roddy, Tutor
Kathy has worked in the voluntary sector for 17 years, she was Director of a national animal welfare charity and is now a freelance trainer and consultant specialising in fundraising and strategic development. Kathy has advised a number of charities across most sectors . the arts (BAFTA), social welfare (women.s refuges), environment (Windmill Community Allotment Project), animal welfare (Compassion in World Farming, World Society for the Protection of Animals) and many more! Having worked on a number of successful Big Lottery bids and other funding applications, Kathy advises on individual and major donor fundraising, and legacy fundraising and holds the Certificate in Fundraising Management.
Ellouise James, Course Administrator
Ellouise is a highly experienced administrator managing accreditation procedures and student enrolment at Fundraising Skills. Having completed FE training in Business and Admin, she worked as a Conveyancing Secretary and for the NHS as an Administration Officer and PA. Ellouise is also a Counsellor and as a hobby has her own pet website.
